These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pentio, provided by Pentaio ("Pentaio", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using Pentio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use Pentio. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activities under your account.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

2. License and Acceptable Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pentio for your internal and commercial creative workflows.

You may not misuse the service, including by reverse engineering, scraping, disrupting service availability, bypassing limits, or using Pentio to create unlawful content or violate third-party rights.

3. Plans, Billing, and Subscription Terms

  • Free: Limited usage features, including limits such as maximum active projects.
  • Pro: Expanded individual creator features and higher usage limits.
  • Team: Collaboration and seat-based billing features for teams.

Paid subscriptions are processed through Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Billing may be monthly or annual depending on your selected plan. Seat quantities, plan switches, and proration behavior are handled by the billing provider based on your subscription configuration.

Unless required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect according to your current billing period and subscription status.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create or upload to Pentio, including animation files, project data, and exports. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service.

Pentio, including software, design, branding, and related technology, is owned by Pentaio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. While we aim for high availability, Pentio is provided on an "as available" basis and may experience interruptions, maintenance windows, or third-party outages.

6. Termination

You may stop using Pentio at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, or use the service unlawfully. Where practical, we will provide notice.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Pentio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pentaio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of important content and exports.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pentio after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
